A bridge from Valencia to Mallorca
Travelling from any Balearic island to Valencia? We islanders say yes. These discounts can be used to travel between the Comunitat de València and the Balearic Government, both with the aim of encouraging tourism in the low season. The voucher is a joint trip, and the programme is called "Val-Bal", in which, through a digital platform, citizens of both territories will be offered discounts for travel between the two communities.
The presidents of the Valencian Community and the Balearic Government, Ximo Puig and Francina Armengol, have acknowledged that from 2023 it will be possible to travel to Valencia from the Balearic Islands and vice versa with an aid of 60% of the cost of tourist services, without distinction of short or long stay and with a maximum of 600 euros per aid granted. A solution to combat the seasonal nature of tourism and for companies in the Valencian sector to be able to offer the islanders the wonderful gastronomy and tourist culture and the same for the Balearic Islands, where you can enjoy nature, culture and above all the tranquillity that is much appreciated in the low season.
The vouchers are accessible through a digital platform with the joint offer of companies from both destinations, the programme will include accommodation, tourist service companies and transport companies, both air and sea, to connect both communities.
A very appropriate solution during the low season, so that the staff remains in the companies by training to improve their qualifications, to reduce precariousness, and above all to curb the seasonal nature of tourism.
