Microsoft to adjust cloud service prices by 11% from April 23
In order to ensure that there is reasonable alignment across regions Microsoft regularly assesses the impact of its local pricing for cloud services.
On 1 April 2023, Microsoft will adjust cloud service prices across Europe, affecting not only the EURO zone, but also Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the UK. In this way it intends to adjust for local currency fluctuations in order to harmonise its pricing for Microsoft cloud services within the continent.
For existing customers with services already contracted, these changes will not affect existing orders or products already subscribed to that are covered by commercial licence agreements for products subject to price protection. Customers purchasing cloud services in Euros, Swedish Krona, Norwegian Krone, Danish Krone and British Pounds Sterling will continue to find equivalent Microsoft Cloud offerings highly competitive.
For new product additions, the manufacturer will honour existing licence agreements, but for new purchases or new contracts will be governed by the price list at the time of order.
